Hello there!
How was your summer? Always too brief, yes?

As we begin to shift into the fall season, there is of course, lots of beauty and colour remaining in the gardens. And hopefully still some summer-like energy lingering in your body and mind as well!
Today I’m taking the time to post some links for you, to articles, features and a program you might find energizing during the seasonal shift:
For those of you who are already making notes and plans for next year’s garden:
- What to Do and Not Do in the Fall Garden,
- Gardening on the Vertical,
- Five Things I Wish I’d Been Told as a Beginning Gardener,
- Water-Wise Gardening.
For those who are looking for some interesting “behind the book” insights:
- My author interview with Kerri Maher, author of Summer of Love for the Historical Novel Society.
For poetry lovers:
- My latest published poem is featured in this week’s edition of CommuterLit Magazine: https://commuterlit.com/2026/09/monday-signs-of-healing-in-the-emergency-waiting-room/
- And do check out the innovative Common Thread radio show, a weekly program of themed music where I regularly read a poem that fits with the theme! The schedule of my readings and how to listen are here.
Until next time, may the autumn season bring you bright, warm energy and inspiration!
Lee Ann
